Brief

VRR stands for voidage replacement ratio. It is the ratio of injected fluid to produced fluid at the reservoir conditions.

Equation

 VRR = \frac{Injected\ reservoir\ volumes}{Produced\ reservoir\ volumes} = \frac{W_i B_{wi} + I_g B_{gi}}{N_p B_o + W_p B_{wp} + B_g(GOR-R_s)N_p}

where

 B_{g} = Gas formation volume factor, m3/m3
 B_{gi} = Injected gas formation volume factor, m3/m3
 B_{wi} = Injected water formation volume factor, m3/m3
 B_{wp} = Produced water formation volume factor, m3/m3
 B_o = Oil formation volume factor, m3/m3
 GOR = Produced gas oil ratio, m3/m3
 I_g = Injected gas volume, m3
 N_p = Oil produced, m3
 R_s = Solution gas oil ratio, m3/m3
 VRR = Voidage replacement ratio, fraction
 W_i = Water injected, m3
 W_p = Water produced, m3
