Brief

Yield is how much liquid hydrocarbons in bbl you get per 1 MMscf of gas.

Measured at the surface.

Can be calculated from the flash.

Math & Physics

 Yield = 10^6 \times \frac{x \times M_L \times \frac{1}{\rho_L} \times \frac{1}{5.615}}{y \times 379.5}\  \left [ \frac{bbl}{MMscf} \right ]

Nomenclature

 M = molecular weight, lbm/lbmol
 x = molar fraction of the liquid phase, lbmol
 y = molar fraction of the vapor phase, lbmol
 Yield = yield, bbl/MMscf

Greek symbols

 \rho = density, lbm/ft3

Subscripts

L = liquid

Conversions

379.5 ft3/lbmol at Psc=14.7 psia and Tsc 60°F [1]
